To jump from their safe vantage point into the unknown. This phenomenon is so common in fact, that the french have a term for it: L’appel du Vide – Call of the Void.

Rushing through Huang Shan
Huang Shan Mountain has got to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Green valleys below huge rocky peaks shrouded in misty fog. It was honestly breathtaking. Sadly, we didn’t really get to enjoy it as we had set ourselves out to explore it at a death march pace thanks to a hurried schedule and some very bad information from our hostel.
